INTERACTIVE COURSE
In autumn 2023 we launched an interactive supplementary education course to train non-profit / non-governmental sector specialists in Russia and around the world
The “Third Sector” is a powerful platform to promote ideas, values and projects.
We unite those who aspire to contribute to the improvement of life and social progress. Such is the call of the times – modern people are ready and willing to realize their potential through activity that benefits their society.
The “Smart Civilization” interactive course for supplementary education in the non-profit / non-governmental sphere is intended for those motivated to contribute to the development of the third sector.

Within the scope of the course the participants will learn about:
- The history and features of third sectors around the world;
- The theory of local civilizations and how it translates to NGO activity;
- The experience of state NGO regulation in countries around the world and the topic of “foreign agent” legislation;
- Country- and region-driven peculiarities of third sector activity
- NGO management;


The materials taught during the course allows participants to study the fundamental competences required to work with or in NGOs, in Russia and around the world.

The course is intended for a wide audience, motivated to expand their understanding of international relations, cross-cultural interaction, culture studies and social sciences.

Total time - 24 academic hours.
1 academic hour — 45 minutes.
Total time - 24 academic hours.
1 academic hour — 45 minutes.
12 academic hours are reserved for viewing pre-recorded video lectures.
4 academic hours — on-campus seminars at RSUH with an opportunity to attend online
+ home assignments
